Maddie Morton is a senior Creative Writer at Douglas Anderson. Her favorite form of writing is poetry. She transferred to DA halfway through her sophomore year. It was a difficult transition, but the creative writing department gave her a sense of belonging. This year as an Artisan staff member, she is most excited to be more involved with the creative process and to interact with the student body.
Some things Maddie does outside of school include lots of sleeping, working 2 jobs, photography and finding mini-adventures. One aspect of DA that Maddie enjoys is all of the opportunities that are provided. Maddie is excited to be a senior this year and graduate. After Maddie’s journey through DA, she hopes to continue her education at a school in New York City for interior Design.
