The Artisan: What have you enjoyed about working at Douglas Anderson so far and what stands out to you about the school?
Williams: I have enjoyed my time here. I used to work at Fort Caroline Middle School. So, coming here, it was very different. We have our issues, but it’s a wonderful school.
The Artisan: Do you have a vision for the future of our school?
Williams: Well, I’d like no skipping, proper dress code and I want people to come to school ready to learn and happy to learn.
The Artisan: What do the arts mean to you?
Williams: I Make T-shirts and have a small store, and I make the designs and hire freelancers. I’ve been doing it for about 10 years.
The Artisan: If you could be any animal, which would you choose?
Williams: That’s a good question, probably a lion or lioness. They go out and do the hunting, and that’s what I do as a mother for my son.
The Artisan: Do you have a favorite childhood memory, if so what and why?
Williams: No, no favorite childhood memory but I did start driving at 14, so that was cool.
